Which data do we use and why?
We may process identification and contact details, reservation and stay details, preferences and service requests, payment and invoicing information, correspondence, and technical website data. We use these data to answer enquiries, process reservations and payments, prepare and provide your stay, meet statutory registration and accounting duties, secure our services and—where you consent—measure website use or activate optional services.
Legal grounds
Depending on the purpose, processing is necessary to take steps before or perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation, pursue our legitimate interests in secure and effective hotel operations and guest service, or is based on your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Booking, analytics, chat and price comparison
The reservation buttons open the MyLighthouse booking engine. Data entered there are used to check availability and process a reservation. Google Analytics 4 is activated only after analytics consent and must not receive names, email addresses, telephone numbers or other direct identifiers. Runnr chat and the Cubilis price comparison are activated only after functional consent; information you choose to enter into those services is processed to provide the requested function.
Recipients and international transfers
Data are shared only where necessary with providers supporting reservations, payments, distribution, hosting, IT, analytics and guest communication, professional advisers, or public authorities where legally required. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we require an applicable adequacy decision or recognised safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Retention and security
We retain data only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, an active reservation or guest relationship, security and dispute handling, and applicable statutory accounting or registration periods. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures and review access to personal data.
Your rights
